a few of my favorite things.

i was thinking... there are a lot of things that i really love right now. so i thought i'd share them!

first of all, i'm really loving the show "it's always sunny in philadelphia." it's wildly inappropriate, however, it's so hilarious. when i say inappropriate, it's just the type of stuff that makes you feel really awkward and uncomfortable when you are watching it. to help you better understand, some of the titles of the shows are: "charlie has cancer," "the gang finds a dead guy," "the gang goes jihad," charlie wants an abortion," "the gang finds a dumpster baby."

heroes, if you haven't watched this show before, i HIGHLY recommend it. it's so creative and fun to watch much like the show "lost" which i also really love and can't wait for it to come back on!

knitting, my mom recently taught me how to knit. just basic knitting skills, nothing fancy. but i'm in the process of making two scarves right now!

yahtzee! i love yahtzee! thomas and i used to play all the time and haven't played for a while until last night. i love that game! such a fun way to spend time with the people you love.

as you all know, i'm a HUGE twilight fan. still completely loving the books too! i'm also reading the book marley and me right now. it is SO good! i would recommend it to anyone. it makes me laugh out loud so you KNOW it's gotta be good. the stories he tells of marley remind me of my little marley. he such an out of control dog but he's the most lovable creature.
i'm really loving the fact that gracy is starting to like watching real people shows. so yes, i don't mind watching them either! we have been watching a lot of drake and josh lately. it's such a cute show and i'm glad we get to watch non-cartoon shows once in a while, altough i've always been a fan of spongebob.

those are just a few of my favorite things right now...i'm also really loving scarves, boots, the bread from iggy's, starting to scrapbook again, thomas' new electric razor... now, if i can only get him to use it!, blankets, my new scentsy snowflake warmer, and many many other things! i'm looking forward to going home tonight; play a rousing game of yahtzee and cuddle up with thomas and watch it's always sunny in philadelphia!

lots to catch up on.

hello friends and family. okay. i FINALLY got some pics on my work computer so i can blog at work when i'm bored. so, here we go! there is a lot to catch up on! prepare for lots of photos! christmas was wonderful this year! first of the festivities was our second annual ugly sweater party, hosted by jenny and brett, thanks guys!

the party was complete with treats, white elephant gifts, and of course UGLY SWEATERS!
i also wanted to add some pics of thomas and i from earlier that day that i thought were cute.

every year, our family on my mom's side has a big christmas party. this year thomas and i weren't able to make it, but my parents, lisa and chris took gracy to it. gracy had a blast! she got to play with all of her cousins and sit on santa's lap. she didn't want to leave santa's side all night long! how cute is that!?

"i want a laptop with a little wand..."
when gracy told santa that's what she wanted, he said, "dream on!" haha. he thought she wanted a real laptop. gracy with her cousin madison. i can't believe how old you've gotten madison!!!! you are sooo cute!

on christmas eve, we all went over to my mom and dad's house for some christmas festivities! we had marian, clair and clair sr. over as well. the more the merrier!

christmas morning came, and so did santa! gracy was so great this year, she stayed up til 10:30 on christmas eve, so she slept in and we didn't have to get up until 10! thanks gracy! we love you!

gracy got a lot of great gifts this year... she got two barbies, some books, pj's, clothes, slippers, toys, movies and best of all she got her laptop with a little wand!! the funny thing is, i got this for her at the beginning of october before she ever even said she wanted it. i must have a great instinct! this is a picture of her when she realized what it was, she was squealing like i've never heard anyone squeal before! it was so much fun!

santa was good to thomas this year too! he got some really cool sweaters, a hoodie, the first and second season of "it's always sunny in philidelphia", this cute purple beanie, a TIME book with lots of super cool pictures. my parents got him a really nice electric razor and his parents got gave us each a check to get whatever we want! thanks mary ann and john!
these are the nice pj's thomas and i got each other (minus the hoodies) don't we look so cute!?this year i got some great presents as well! thomas gave me a really cute pair of shoes, and a nice new scrapbooking desk!! i love it! it's so perfect! and to make it all complete, my parents gave me my much wanted cricut!! i'm so excited i can hardly contain myself! i went home last night and tried it out, and i love it! my sister and chris gave us some pretty sweet presents too.

and of course we couldn't forget our little puppy marley on christmas! we got him a new bed, some toys and this cute little red hoodie!! he is so cute i just want to SQUEEZE him!

all in all, it was a pretty fantastic christmas! thanks everyone for all you do for us! we love you all so much.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

we celebrated last night and went to bonsai for dinner. it was dad, mom, lisa, chris, and me... thomas was working and sadly couldn't come, but he all missed him. we all love to go to that place and whenever we go, we always pretend it's someone's birthday so we can get our picture taken. so far, we have 7 pictures all in the same place... hah only 3 of them have been ACTUAL birthdays. it's so much fun to go and look at our pictures there and see how everyone has changed. so, back to the birthday. my dad is great, he even paid for his own birthday dinner! thanks dad. after dinner, we went back to my parents house to open presents. dad got some pretty sweet presents. lisa and chris gave him a ticket to the body worlds exhibit and a home-made card by lisa.. she is getting to be so crafty! mom gave him a golf shirt, a book, and season tickets for the hail center theater. thomas, gracy and i gave him a book by elder holland. all in all it was a great birthday celebration.

so, i promised you a funny story... the other day, my dad was eating alone at some restaurant (as he frequently does), and the waitress came over and said: "there is a group of kids over there and i told them that gepetto is here. can you go over and pretend that you are gepetto?" so my dad went over and pretended he was gepetto for all of these little kids!!! oh man, i only wish i would've been there. what a good sport dad is! so here's to you, happy birthday gepetto.... i mean, dad!
